Dechert LLP, who provide RAFT with pro bono legal services, has been named as the winner in the “Best Contribution by an International Firm” category by LawWorks in its 2016 Pro Bono Awards.
LawWorks, a UK charity that connects volunteer lawyers with people in need of legal advice, set up the awards to celebrate achievement in the pro bono legal sector where it brings positive impacts to individuals and communities.
Dechert was recognized for its pro bono work for RAFT, such as its role in establishing an intellectual property package governing a collaboration with University College London on the bionic limb project. RAFT are very grateful for the invaluable service which Dechert provides- congratulations to Dechert on winning this will deserved award.
