Former RAFT Surgical Research Fellow presents 'Arris & Gale' Lecture at SARS annual meeting

Anita Mohan, RAFT’s most recent Surgical Research Fellow, had the honour of presenting the Arris and Gale Lecture at the Society of Academic & Research Surgery (SARS) annual meeting, which took place yesterday at the Royal Society of Medicine in London. This award, from the Royal College of surgeons, dates back to 1810 when the first lecture was delivered by Sir William Blizard.
Ms Mohan’s presentation, titled “Bridging the Gap between Microvascular Anatomy and Flap Physiology in Autologous Breast Reconstruction”, covered some the work she carried out during her PhD, for RAFT’s Breast Reconstruction Programme and in collaboration with The University of Cambridge and The Mayo Clinic.
