RAFT researcher collects prestigious award at TCES Annual Meeting

Dr Prasad Sawadkar won the Robert Brown Early Stage Investigator (ESI) Award at the recent Tissue and Cell Engineering Society (TCES) Annual Meeting in Manchester. Prasad’s current work on adipose derived stem cell interaction with elements of the extracellular matrix, as well as his scientific trajectory so far earned him this prestigious award. On a personal note, Prasad was a PhD student of the late Professor Robert Brown (UCL), who was an international leading scientist in the tissue engineering field and the inventor of compressed collagen. Congratulations to Prasad on this fantastic achievement, which is a reflection of the quality of the research at RAFT.
