Innovative and award-winning medical research charity RAFT today announces the appointment of its new Chairman: Dr Niccolo Caderni who will take over the role from Francis Gugen. For the second year running, RAFT has received a GHP (Global Health and Pharma) International Life Sciences Award. This year the award was for ‘Most Dedicated Medical Research Company (UK)’. Organisations are selected for GHP awards through a combination of online voting and a rigorous research process.

Scientists from RAFT will be presenting their research at this years Tissue and Cell Engineering Society Annual Meeting in Manchester, which runs from 5th to 7th of July. Three of the scientists have been asked to speak at the event and there will also be two poster presentations from RAFT.

After some horrendous weather at the start of the month we were blessed with some lovely sunshine and a dry day for this years RAFT Clay Shoot at Holland & Holland, which took place last week. There was a nice mix of regular attendees and new faces at this years event and a great time
